Bungree Disability Services is a registered provider for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Bungree Disability Services program includes assistance in coordinating or managing life stages, transitions and support, assistance with daily life tasks, development of daily living and life skills, therapeutic supports, assistive products for personal care and safety, assistance with daily personal activities, assistance with transport, assistive products for household tasks, household tasks, participation in community, social and civic activities, and management of funding for supports in a participant’s plan
The Role:
We are currently seeking reliable support workers to work casually on the Central Coast! Shifts are available immediately for suitably qualified applicants.
As a Bungree Support Worker you will provide quality care that caters to the individual support needs of our clients. The role involves engaging and communicating our values to foster inclusion, choice and control in all aspects of our services:
• Provide high-quality care
• Personal care (including showering, dressing, grooming etc.)
• Manual Handling (Hoist transfers)
• Meal preparation
• Household tasks
• Engage and treat our clients with genuine dignity and respect
• Complete all mandatory documentation and reporting as required
Requirements:
• You must have the right to live and work in Australia
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Working With Children Check
• National Police Check (willing to obtain).
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate (willing to obtain)
• Driver’s license
• Strong communication skills
• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support or similar qualification
• Vaccinations: Bungree is a mandatory vaccination workplace; you will have up to date FLU and COVID-19 vaccinations (if for medical reasons you cannot get the flu shot please provide evidence).
