Bungree offers a number of services to eligible recipients under the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP), an initiative of My Aged Care.
The CHSP helps you to stay independent and in your home and community for longer. Services offered by Bungree under the CHSP include:
- Home/Community Respite – To support older persons/people with respite as a form of temporary relief to support and maintain care relationships between older persons and their carer.
- Podiatry – Allied health foot care support.
- Social Support – To support older person’s need for social connection and participation in community life including diverse cultural activities.
- Home Maintenance and Repairs – Assistance with home maintenance and repairs.
- Personal Care – Support for an older person to engage in activities of daily living that help them maintain hygiene and grooming.
- Domestic Assistance – Including help with housework and practical tasks around the home.
- Equipment and Products – Offers the provision of goods, equipment or assistive technology to enable an older person to perform tasks they would otherwise be unable to do, promote safety and independence, or support wellness and reablement goals.
- Hoarding and Squalor Assistance – Support for older persons who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or unable to receive the aged care support they need because of living with hoarding behaviour or living in a squalid environment.
- Transport Services – Providing transport services to connect an older person with the community and attend their usual activities.
- Home Adjustments – Provision of modifications to older person’s home to prevent accidents and support independent living.
- Sector Support Officer – Aims to increase CHSP provider capability and improve quality of service delivery through activities and targeted focus areas.

How to Access Our Commonwealth Home Support Program Services
Referral to Bungree’s Commonwealth Home Support Program services is arranged through My Aged Care. If you are an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person aged 50 years or older, you may be eligible.
