Serving Our Aboriginal Community

Bungree Aboriginal Association is a large multi service Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation based on the Central Coast. We provide a wide range of culturally informed, high-impact services to both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people across multiple regions in New South Wales.

Our work is guided by community need and delivered through five Business Units:

  • Housing and Homelessness Services: We manage housing and property services, including government and private tenancies, supporting stable and secure accommodation for individuals and families.
  • Children, Youth and Families Services: Programs include Aboriginal Family Preservation Services and the Youth Frontiers mentoring program.
  • Aged Care Services: As an approved My Aged Care provider, Bungree delivers 11 Commonwealth Home Support Programs and accessible transport options for older clients.
  • Population Health Services: Providing culturally safe health services including Go4Fun, the Bungree Link to Health Service, a Diabetes Health Hub, and Care Finder support.
  • Disability Services: Offering 11 community-based activities that support independence, social connection and wellbeing for people with a disability.


    • Bungree also delivers targeted case management services through partnerships, including the Youth Rent Choice Program and Central Coast Local Health District.

    Our main office is in Gosford, with a second base in Cessnock. We operate across the Central Coast, Lake Macquarie, Cessnock, Maitland, Newcastle and Port Stephens Local Government Areas. Find out more about Bungree here.
